Despite this, the A-10 continued to be active, but <strong>this time the time has finally come for its farewell<\/strong>, which will not be quick, since in 2023 it was announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2023\/06\/20\/10s-were-saved-retirement-years-congress-may-not-swoop-rescue-time.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the final retirement of the entire A-10 fleet will come in 2028 or 2029<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54280829527_8d81e5eb5d_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>On November 10, 2024, the A-10 Demo Team said goodbye.<\/strong> This display unit has flown this aircraft for four decades at 1,800 airshows in 10 different countries. <strong>Their final farewell took place at the Stuart Airshow in Florida,<\/strong> where they were able to see the A-10 of this team in flight for the last time.
