Something that, strictly speaking, is entirely true. Thus, the government will present the decrees again, this time more broken up: what the government said it did not intend to do.

As has happened before, socialist voters had reason to feel like losers who don't matter at all to the PSOE, who are constantly deceived and manipulated with the sole aim of making Sánchez humiliate himself from time to time before Puigdemont to obtain his permission to remain in power for a few more days, while all Spaniards pay a golden price for every concession that the socialist leader makes to his separatist partners.

However, socialist voters can find some solace in the fact that they are not the only ones humiliated. After boasting about the government's parliamentary defeat last week, after boasting about their cunning by implying that Sánchez had not managed to fool them by slipping into those decrees things that had nothing to do with pensions or aid to those affected by the floods, yesterday the PP announced that it will vote in favour of those decrees, despite the fact that they continue to include traps such as measures to protect squatters or the government's gift to the PNV of a mansion in Paris that is owned by all Spaniards.

In the end, if there are no surprises at any time, Vox will once again be the only party to maintain its opposition to the government and its tricks, voting against these decrees. As a Vox voter, I feel proud to know that my vote is for this, and not to once again come to the rescue of the government as the PP has been doing.

At this point, what the PP and PSOE are doing may seem like a theatrical comedy, a simple staging in which both pretend to be rivals and that in one scene they provoke laughter from the voters of one party and in the next from those of the other. Perhaps the electorate that still trusts them will find some consolation in seeing how they humiliate each other in turn. This allows them to laugh a little at each other, without feeling like the only ones humiliated.

They do not realize that in this play, it is they who provoke the laughter of the actors, of those politicians who have spent years living off the so-called two-party system, pretending that they are rivals, making their voters believe that they defend different discourses, despite the fact that both are ideologically increasingly indistinguishable.

You should see them in the dressing rooms, when there are no cameras around, showing that they are not rivals, but part of a function that consists of making fun of their voters. This is precisely what happens in Brussels, where the Popular Party and the Socialists have formed a "grand coalition" for many years thanks to the votes of millions of fools who still believe that the PP and the PSOE are rivals.

---

Photo: Efe.

This week must be very tough for voters of the two main political parties in Spain, the PP and the PSOE.

[10398
325,9498,11339,641,693,2721,11462,7535
post-58562","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-spain","tag-alberto-nunez-feijoo","tag-carles-puigdemont","tag-junts-per-catalunya","tag-partido-popular","tag-psoe","tag-pedro-sanchez-castejon","tag-spain","tag-vox
