{"id":59129,"date":"2025-03-31T06:50:49","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T04:50:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=59129"},"modified":"2026-03-31T00:39:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T22:39:07","slug":"do-pedro-sanchez-and-four-of-his-ministers-have-degrees-purchased-from-private-universities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/03\/31\/do-pedro-sanchez-and-four-of-his-ministers-have-degrees-purchased-from-private-universities\/","title":{"rendered":"Do Pedro S\u00e1nchez and four of his ministers have degrees 'purchased' from private universities?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the biggest flaws of some people who are involved in politics is that they are loudmouths who speak without thinking about what they are going to say.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/03\/30\/maria-jesus-montero-a-socialist-minister-who-tramples-on-one-of-our-human-rights\/\">Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero, a socialist minister who tramples on one of our human rights<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/11\/29\/the-antidemocratic-flight-forward-of-a-socialist-government-implicated-in-a-crime\/\">The antidemocratic flight forward of a socialist government implicated in a crime<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p><big>Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero criticizes the existence of private universities<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, the First Vice President and Minister of Finance in Pedro S\u00e1nchez's government, <strong>the socialist Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eldebate.com\/sociedad\/20250330\/maria-jesus-montero-acusa-alumnos-universidad-privada-comprarse-titulo_283615.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">criticized the existence of private universities<\/a> at a PSOE rally in M\u00e1laga. <strong>Her words can be heard in this video:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"665\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero acusa a los alumnos de la universidad privada de \u00abcomprarse el t\u00edtulo\u00bb <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/smHDBl3nAW\">pic.twitter.com\/smHDBl3nAW<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; El Debate (@eldebate_com) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/eldebate_com\/status\/1906317642165530632?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In the first part of the video, Montero states the following:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Private universities: they are the main threat to the working class<\/strong>, offering a glimmer of hope to those families who will only rise in the seats... rise in the social ladder through effort, through knowledge, through training. <strong>We cannot allow someone to buy a degree and training in competition with the son of a worker<\/strong>, who cannot buy a degree.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><big>Attacking a fundamental right for the second day in a row<\/big><\/p>\n<p>With these statements, and <strong>for the second day in a row, this socialist minister is once again attacking a fundamental right<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/03\/30\/maria-jesus-montero-a-socialist-minister-who-tramples-on-one-of-our-human-rights\/\">On Saturday, it was the presumption of innocence<\/a>, which she criticized, stating that it is <em>\"ahead of the testimony of young women\"<\/em>. <strong>This Sunday, the right attacked was freedom of education<\/strong>, protected by Article 27 of the Spanish Constitution, point 6 of which <em>\"recognizes the freedom of individuals and legal entities to create educational centers.\"<\/em> <strong>It is a right that the PSOE has been threatening for many years<\/strong> and in various ways.<\/p>\n<p>That the Minister of Finance dislikes this right is no surprise. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.divinity.es\/familia\/20250316\/maria-jesus-montero-religion-devota-cristiana-vicepresidenta_18_015037077.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Montero was a member of the Young Communists<\/a> and <strong>in the dictatorships of that totalitarian ideology, education is not free<\/strong>, as it is a state monopoly used to indoctrinate students. Judging by her recent anti-democratic statements, <strong>it seems that Montero is returning to the totalitarian ideas of her youth, if she ever abandoned them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><big>S\u00e1nchez and four of his ministers have degrees from private universities.<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Montero should know who he shares a seat with in the Council of Ministers, since <strong>Pedro S\u00e1nchez and four of his ministers have university degrees obtained from private institutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The socialist <strong>Pedro S\u00e1nchez Castej\u00f3n<\/strong>, the president of the government, obtained his <strong>degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Royal Universitary Center Mar\u00eda Cristina<\/strong> de El Escorial (RCUMCE), a private institution founded in 1892 and affiliated with the CEU San Pablo University since 2024. At the time S\u00e1nchez obtained his degree, the RCUMCE was affiliated with the Complutense University of Madrid. In addition, <strong>S\u00e1nchez has a doctorate in Economics from the Camilo Jos\u00e9 Cela University<\/strong>, a private university founded in 2000 in Villanueva de la Ca\u00f1ada (Madrid). Saiz also holds a Master's Degree in Tax Consulting from the same university. Hereu also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESADE.
