Such is the case of a five-story concrete building abandoned in a remote mountain gorge<\/strong> in Guizhou Province, inland on the Chinese mainland. A few weeks ago, a Chinese YouTuber, Qingyunji Xiaoxue<\/a>, posted a video exploring this enigmatic construction, noting: \"The house has five floors in total, and each floor has three windows that cleverly open. Looking around, there is no human population for miles around<\/strong>. It really makes people wonder: why build such a house in such a strange and dangerous place?<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n This girl's exploration sheds some light on the building: it appears to have been a salamander breeding ground<\/strong>. At the back of the building is a concrete wall behind which is a water tank, which filters its contents into a series of containers located on each floor.
