Among Israeli Arabs, 82.6% are Sunni Muslims, 9% are Druze, and 9% are Christians. There are also Shiites, Bedouins, Circassians, Arameans, Assyrians, and Copts. The country has very varied coastlines. At the top of this post is an image of <strong>the Saar Falls<\/strong> in the Golan Heights. Its name comes from the Third Crusade (1189-1192), when it was baptized as Saint John of Acre. It was the last Christian city of the former Latin States of the Holy Land to fall in 1291.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54451401142_a326d0b757_3k.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54451401142_86bb858655_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Negev Desert<\/strong> covers an area of \u200b\u200b12,500 square kilometers. It occupies almost all of southern Israel, from the Gaza Strip to the Red Sea coast.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54451401157_fd9d950f5f_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54451401157_aa9b8b636c_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Dead Sea<\/strong>. With an area of \u200b\u200b605 square kilometers, it is located in eastern Israel and is divided between Israel and neighboring Jordan.
