I don't think it's a mere coincidence.

It should be remembered that in 2022 Pedro Sánchez said that there would be no blackouts in Spain, accusing "the right and the far right" of claiming that something like this could happen. This Monday, Sánchez appeared to announce that he was unaware of the causes of this blackout, but due to this government's repeated resort to lies, his words can no longer inspire any confidence.

It should be remembered that the socialist government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero caused a €30 billion hole with its commitment to so-called "renewable energies", a commitment that has resulted in an increase in electricity prices in Spain that was already double that of the European Union in 2020. Despite this, and contrary to the policy of other European countries, Sánchez's government is determined to close all of Spain's nuclear power plants, putting its ideological dogmas above the well-being of all Spaniards. And now Sánchez says he doesn't know the reasons for this blackout. Please don't make us laugh...

After putting Spain at the head of Europe in unemployment and among the five European countries with the highest public debt, the coalition government of socialists and communists headed by Sánchez achieves a new milestone: that Spain suffers a national blackout like those in Cuba and Venezuela, whose regimes are an example of the degree of economic disaster that can be reached by following the left's recipes.

I wonder what else will have to happen for some people to open their eyes and realize the level of disaster that the already repeatedly failed socialist and communist recipes, which are part of this government's manual, are leading us to. Spain is becoming a country where train failures are as common as socialist corruption, unemployment, government opacity, waste of public money, and the rising cost of living.
