This exercise, which will take place in June in Slovakia, will have a significant Spanish contribution, as we saw this week in the city of Vigo. On the morning of Wednesday, May 14, a multitude of vehicles from BRILAT and AALOG 61<\/strong> (Logistics Support Group No. 61, based in Santovenia de Pisuerga, Valladolid) began arriving at the port of Vigo<\/strong>, as we can see in this image from the municipal traffic camera located at the beginning of Sanjurjo Bad\u00eda Street.<\/p>\n

Vehicles have been lining up at one of the docks in the port of Vigo<\/strong>. Here are some of my own photos taken near the port, which I've uploaded to my Flickr account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

BRILAT's BMR armored vehicles have arrived on flatbed trucks. In addition to them, the images show Uro VAMTAC tactical vehicles, trucks of various models, ambulances, and Santana An\u00edbal all-terrain vehicles.<\/p>\n

Today, the Army published more photos of this vehicle concentration<\/a> at the port of Vigo. You can see them below:<\/p>\n

An L-118 Light Gun from the 7th Field Artillery Group (GACA VII) of the BRILAT<\/strong>, next to the VAMTAC SK-95 truck towing it. Behind it is a tanker truck from AALOG 61.<\/p>\n

More GACA VII vehicles, in the left row<\/strong>, and a VAMTAC ST-5 from the \"Isabel La Cat\u00f3lica\" Light Infantry Regiment No. 29 (RI 29). Both units are based in Figueirido, Pontevedra.<\/p>\n

The vehicles were parked at the dock for two days<\/strong>, from May 14 to 16, when they were finally loaded.<\/p>\n

According to Marine Traffic<\/a>, this vessel is now sailing towards the port of Koper (Slovenia)<\/strong>, where its arrival is expected on May 23. From there, the Spanish Army vehicles will be transported by land to Slovakia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
