Last Friday, this team published <strong>a great video showing F-16s from Poland, Portugal, and Romania flying over Lithuania<\/strong> alongside a NATO E-3 Sentry AWACS:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"#PKWOrlik - \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1Polskie, Portugalskie \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf9 i Rumu\u0144skie\ud83c\uddf7\ud83c\uddf4 F16 oraz NATO AWACS  podczas misji nad Litw\u0105 \ud83c\uddf1\ud83c\uddf9\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/etQJ1BRyVQw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Since the end of March, <strong>these fighters have been on a Baltic Air Policing mission<\/strong>, monitoring the airspace of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia against incursions by Russian aircraft into those three NATO countries, which lack their own combat aircraft. <strong>The fighters on this BAP mission are 12: 4 Portuguese F-16AMs<\/strong> are deployed at \u00c4mari Air Base in Estonia, and <strong>4 Polish F-16Cs and 4 Romanian F-16AMs<\/strong> are deployed at \u0160iauliai Air Base in Lithuania.<\/p>\n<p>Below you can see some of <a href=\"https:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/131102638@N08\/albums\/72177720326235839\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the great photos of these aircraft published by Combat Camera Poland on their Flickr account<\/a>. <strong>My congratulations to these Polish photographers for this great work<\/strong>, these are some of the best photos of F-16 fighters I've seen in many years.<\/p>\n<p><big2>Polish Air Force<\/big2><\/p>\n<p>The aircraft seen in these photos <strong>are armed with AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles on their side mounts and AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles under the wings<\/strong>. Two of them carry AN\/AAQ-28(V) LITENING target designators on the under-fuselage mounts. All four aircraft have external fuel tanks under the wings.
