Fire not only provides us with heat and light<\/strong> (like when there's a blackout like the one on April 28 in Spain and there are no lanterns), but also cooks food and boils water<\/strong>. It also plays a vital role in the manufacture of many items, as it allows metals and other materials to be melted.<\/p>\n

On a camping trip or in a survival situation, making a fire can be a challenge<\/strong>, as you may have seen in the famous film \"Cast Away\" (2000) by Robert Zemeckis, in which Tom Hanks tries to make a fire on a desert island using very traditional methods. On this interesting subject, today Aventuras Entresierras<\/a> (a YouTube channel that I recommend you subscribe to) has published a video showing their equipment for making a fire on a camping trip or in a survival situation<\/strong> (I confess that there is some method that I didn't even know about, you always learn new things by following that channel).
