For this parade, <strong>the U.S. Army has provided some units with uniforms and weapons from different eras<\/strong> to represent the soldiers who served in their ranks throughout history. Here are some examples (click on the images to enlarge them).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589289013_184c116588_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589289013_184c116588_o.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we can see in this photo from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/usawtfm\/status\/1933736102667403450\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@usawtfm<\/a>, in addition to uniforms, period weapons have also been provided. <strong>A soldier from the 101st Airborne Division shows off his M-16A1<\/strong>, issued by the Army alongside the OG-107 uniform with emblems of the 1st Cavalry Division for this parade.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589389880_3f847f8be1_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589389880_30ac47cf17_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This photo shows <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/image\/9108102\/armys-250th-birthday-parade-historical-uniform-fitting\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division receiving these uniforms on June 11<\/a>. This unit regularly uses these historic uniforms from the Revolutionary War era in ceremonial events.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589078076_8ff7380c53_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589078076_2d009b555d_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/image\/9112095\/paratroopers-don-historical-uniforms-army-250th-birthday-parade\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division in World War I uniforms<\/a>. This unit was founded as the 82nd Infantry Division on August 25, 1917. Its emblem at that time was identical to the current one, but without the \"Airborne\" label.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589078066_103f54e6b4_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589078066_0dea7f44e0_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/image\/9112094\/paratroopers-don-historical-uniforms-army-250th-birthday-parade\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division in World War II uniforms<\/a>. This unit was the first airborne division in the U.S. Army, receiving its current designation on August 15, 1942.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589289043_c23a56526a_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589289043_d66f295392_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dvidshub.net\/image\/9108131\/armys-250th-birthday-parade-historical-uniform-fitting\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division (Big Red One) donning DBDU (Desert Battle Dress Uniform). The US Army adopted this style of uniform for desert environments in 1981, but it became especially popular in 1990 during the Gulf War.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589091351_fa36499b66_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54589091351_2bedf5fbae_h.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another photo from <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/usawtfm\/status\/1933658978195521797\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@usawtfm<\/a> showing <strong>1st Infantry Division (Big Red One) soldiers in their DBDU uniforms<\/strong> already on the street.
