Pedro S\u00e1nchez's tendency to lie and deceive is well known in Spain, but today it has been made evident abroad.<\/p>\n
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte<\/strong> held a press conference this afternoon. The first question from the media came from a Spanish journalist, Llu\u00eds Tovar<\/a>, Telecinco's Brussels correspondent, who asked him about the exception announced yesterday by S\u00e1nchez<\/a>, assuring that NATO would allow Spain to invest 2.1% in defense and not 5% of GDP.<\/strong> An exception that many media outlets announced without questioning it, despite the already low credibility of the socialist leader and even after S\u00e1nchez published a letter from Rutte denying that claim<\/a>.<\/p>\n The official transcript of the press conference can be read here<\/a> (it does not include answers to journalists).
