Today, airshows are a very popular type of event in many countries, but they often come with a significant drawback.<\/p>\n

The drawback is that they are usually held during the summer months and during the day<\/strong>. This often means high temperatures and excessive exposure to sunlight during the daylight hours. This can cause sunstroke and burns.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Leszno, in western Poland, they have a great idea to avoid this problem:<\/strong> their annual air festival, Antidotum Airshow Leszno<\/a>, holds most of its performances at dusk and at night.<\/p>\n

Visually, the Antidotum Airshow Leszno is a spectacular event<\/strong>, as in these conditions you can see much better the lights of the planes and helicopters, the infrared decoys of the military aircraft and the fireworks launched during this event.<\/p>\n

It's also worth noting that the Antidotum Airshow Leszno is one of the few airshows where you can see World War I aircraft in flight<\/strong>, even simulating dogfights. This combines the love of aviation with the great interest in military reenactments in Poland.<\/p>\n
