Let's look at an example. This afternoon, the secretary general of that party, <strong>Ione Belarra, displayed her fanaticism before the press by falsely accusing a journalist of \"racist terrorism\"<\/strong> simply for asking her about the attack perpetrated by Moroccan immigrants against an elderly Spanish man in Torre Pacheco, Murcia. <strong>Belarra told the journalist she slandered: \"You should be arrested.\"<\/strong> You can see the video of the incident here.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"665\">\n<p lang=\"es\" dir=\"ltr\">Acaba de pasar esto en directo: <\/p>\n<p>Le pregunto a Belarra por el origen extranjero de los detenidos por la paliza al anciano de Torre Pacheco y enloquece. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MF0ivO4Xkk\">pic.twitter.com\/MF0ivO4Xkk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Vito Quiles \ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8 (@vitoquiles) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/vitoquiles\/status\/1945071839245459874?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 15, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>This fanatical attitude is no surprise coming from a communist like Ione Belarra<\/strong>, whose party <a href=\"https:\/\/amp.elmundo.es\/internacional\/2021\/07\/13\/60ed7501e4d4d8c77d8b45b0.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has supported dictatorships like those in Cuba<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europapress.es\/nacional\/noticia-podemos-asegura-nadie-pone-cuestion-maduro-presidente-venezuela-20250113121356.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Venezuela<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2014\/11\/12\/pablo-iglesias-reconoce-que-se-ha-dejado-usar-por-iran-para-desestabilizar-espana\/\">whose founder has ties to the Iranian Islamist dictatorship<\/a>. What the Podemos leader seems to want is for the persecution of the free press that occurs in those countries to also be applied in Spain, turning our country into a dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, on July 11, <strong>just 4 days before this incident, Belarra and Podemos MEP Irene Montero met amicably with Arnaldo Otegui<\/strong>, the top leader of EH Bildu, a party that has never condemned ETA terrorism. <strong>Otegui himself was convicted of kidnapping and belonging to a terrorist organization.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ionebelarra\/status\/1943701037224776065\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Belarra published these photos of the meeting on her Twitter account<\/a>, without making the slightest criticism of Bildu for not condemning ETA's 853 murders, not even the 22 children and babies:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656846159_d9be1740a6_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656846159_b7a1d4dcf8_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656839203_146cc22f01_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656839203_ca5c48bc98_b.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656936440_1682c23e28_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54656936440_5ee228dda2_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Podemos's curious concept of terrorism doesn't end there. In October 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/doceo\/document\/TA-9-2023-0373_EN.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the European Parliament condemned the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel<\/a>, <strong>the worst massacre suffered by the Jewish people since the Holocaust<\/strong>. The resolution of condemnation was approved by 500 votes in favor and only 21 against. Displaying its well-known anti-Semitism, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2023\/10\/19\/pedro-sanchezs-partners-reject-european-condemnation-of-the-hamas-terrorist-attack\/\">Podemos was one of the few parties that voted against it<\/a>. It should be remembered that in November 2022, <strong>when the European Parliament passed a resolution condemning Russia for terrorism<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/11\/24\/the-eu-accuses-russia-of-terrorism-this-is-how-the-spanish-parties-voted-in-this-resolution\/\">not a single Podemos MEP voted in favor<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2020\/01\/11\/podemos-apoya-una-marcha-por-los-presos-de-eta-estas-fueron-las-victimas-de-uno-de-ellos\/\">Podemos supported a march in support of ETA prisoners<\/a>. Perhaps that was when they began to have such a good relationship with a terrorist like Otegui.
