As we saw a few days ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/07\/15\/spanish-harrier-iis-will-not-go-to-riat-2025-a-big-airshow-where-they-are-highly-applauded\/\">the Spanish Harrier II Plus of the 9th Squadron cancelled their attendance at RIAT 2025 at the last minute<\/a>, an absence that many attendees at that event will have regretted, since <b>those STOVL fighters of the Spanish Navy usually receive a lot of applause at RAF Fairford<\/b>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2024\/10\/23\/a-british-airshow-singles-out-spanish-harrier-ii-as-a-firm-crowd-favourite\/\">as we saw last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54667818435_9780e92cee_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-jubilee.flickr.com\/65535\/54667818435_0f5ba7b83e_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; margin:10px 0 10px 0;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All in all, <strong>Spain has participated in RIAT 2025<\/strong>, and at the highest level. Although two were initially planned, <b>three Eurofighters from the 14th Wing, based in Los Llanos (Albacete), finally flew to RAF Fairford<\/b> this week to participate in this festival. The Spanish delegation was led by the Chief of the Air Force Staff (JEMA), Air Force General Francisco Braco Carb\u00f3. In addition, <b>a CASA C-295M transport aircraft from the 35th Wing<\/b> (T.21-04, 35-04, based at Getafe) <b>and a Sikorsky S-76C helicopter from the 49th Wing<\/b> have also been deployed to RAF Fairford.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\" style=\"margin:10px 0 10px 0;\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"560\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The lesser spotted bearded Eurofighter! In addition, <b>the C.16-73 has given flight displays that have caught the attention of several British YouTube channels specializing in aeronautical matters<\/b>. This Saturday, spotter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@ElwynR\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elwyn Roberts<\/a>, a regular on the famous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2019\/08\/17\/dos-de-las-mejores-montanas-del-mundo-para-ver-aviones-de-guerra-volando-a-gran-velocidad\/\">Mach Loop<\/a> in Wales, described the Spanish fighter's performance as \"spectacular.\" Here's his video:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Spectacular Spanish Eurofighter Showcase at RIAT 2025\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8hNEgQxzGgQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I've left my favorite British channel for last, that of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@TedConingsby\">Ted Coningsby<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2022\/07\/11\/ted-coningsby-the-teddy-bear-who-managed-to-fly-in-a-eurofighter-and-with-the-red-arrows\/\">the teddy bear who has flown in an RAF Eurofighter and with the Red Arrows<\/a>, a celebrity among aviation enthusiasts in the United Kingdom and other countries. <strong>Ted highlighted a detail of the Spanish Eurofighter display:<\/strong> <em>\"This display was not only aggressive but produced a phenomenon that we don't see very often here in the UK;
