For years, the Spanish left has demonstrated that it only rejects dictatorships if they are not communist, socialist, or Islamist.<\/p>\n
The latest example is the contract between Pedro S\u00e1nchez's government and the Chinese company Huawei to store police wiretaps<\/a>, a contract worth 12.3 million euros<\/strong> that ignores the fact that large Chinese companies are under the control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)<\/a> and are accountable to the Beijing dictatorship, which is today the largest dictatorship in the world<\/strong>. A totalitarian regime that S\u00e1nchez has openly praised<\/a>, without ever making the slightest reproach about its systematic violations of the most basic human rights<\/a>.<\/p>\n With this contract, S\u00e1nchez ignores the European Commission's warnings about Huawei<\/a> and has already generated tensions with the United States<\/a>, which could jeopardize the intelligence information provided by that country to Spain. One day we will know if S\u00e1nchez is approaching communist China for something more than ideological affinity<\/strong> (let us keep in mind that his government is a coalition of socialists and communists), because in view of the corruption scandals that surround him<\/a>, it is not impossible that we are facing a new case in which personal interests take precedence over the common good and even national security.<\/p>\n For the rest, I think it is worth reflecting on the curious \"cordon sanitaire\" applied by the Spanish left<\/strong>, a veto that is directed exclusively against a right-wing party like Vox, which has no relationship with any dictatorship and which defends its ideas through democratic and peaceful means, but which does not affect admirers of the terrorist group ETA<\/a> nor the authors of the separatist coup of October 1, 2017<\/strong> (an attempt to break national unity and subvert the constitutional order that S\u00e1nchez has set out to erase with an amnesty in exchange for the support of these criminals, which is yet another act of corruption<\/a>, and the worst of all).<\/p>\n Now we see that that \"cordon sanitaire\" does not apply to the largest dictatorship in the world<\/strong>, an anti-democratic regime with a communist ideology that has ruled mainland China without free elections since 1949. This is no longer a surprise, considering S\u00e1nchez's good relations with all kinds of dictatorships<\/a> while demonizing a democratic country like Israel<\/strong>, launching serious accusations against it that He does not attack China or Russia<\/a>, two dictatorships that S\u00e1nchez is favoring. In the case of China, with examples such as Huawei, and in the case of Russia, by purchasing gas directly and oil through Morocco<\/a>.<\/p>\n In the end, as with so many other things, the Spanish left's pro-democracy rhetoric is just a farce<\/strong>, a deception to simulate adherence to a way of understanding politics based on the people's right to elect their representatives and respect for human rights.
