I have been supporting Ukraine's cause for years against the Russian invasion ordered by Vladimir Putin in 2022, and today I want to reiterate that support.<\/p>\n
Honestly, I don't feel like writing about politics much, for the reason I already mentioned here<\/a>. Something like this makes the world's problems suddenly seem irrelevant, but I can't forget the pain of many Ukrainians who have lost their loved ones in one of the noblest struggles: the defense of their homeland, their homes, and their families<\/strong> against an unprovoked invasion, without any justification and marked by war crimes and crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n Therefore, I want to reaffirm that the defenders of Ukraine deserve respect<\/strong>, the blood they have shed in the fight against the invader and the lives given in defense of their country should not be underestimated by anyone, and even less so by the leader of a country who knows well what it means to sacrifice its children in defense of Freedom.<\/p>\n Talking about Ukraine's future without Ukraine<\/a>, as if Ukrainians have no say in a split of their country between two great powers<\/a>, is an outrage comparable to the split of Czechoslovakia at<\/strong> the conference of Munich on September 30, 1938<\/a>, when Chamberlain and Daladier gave in to Hitler in an attempt to appease the criminal in exchange for a false promise of peace<\/strong>. A promise that did not last a year: on September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland, unleashing the Second World War.<\/p>\n It is sad to see how some politicians insist on ignoring the lessons of history<\/strong>, showing weakness in the face of thugs and trying to sell a peace based on the perverse idea that invaders deserve a reward for having invaded another country, committing all kinds of crimes<\/strong>, simply on the sole condition that they do not do it again. You would have to be very foolish not to realize that wanting to stop a war by promising a reward to the invader is the best incentive for that war to happen again in a few years<\/strong>, in addition to blowing up an international order based on rules that begin with the most basic of principles: no one has the right to take over a country that is not theirs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Peace is not achieved by being weak with bullies, but by being firm against them and preventing them from getting away with it. What some want for Ukraine is not peace, but submission to one of the greatest criminals of our time: dictator Vladimir Putin.<\/strong><\/p>\n ---<\/p>\n
