The email in question told me the following: "The Multi-Domain Email service informs you that an email you sent could not be delivered to at least one of the recipients. The original email has been attached to this email."

Reading the list of commands that appeared in this email bounce, I find that the account with which I send one of the free Counting Stars newsletters has been added to a blacklist, so that anyone who has an email account in the "correo.gob.es" domain of the Spanish government will not be able to receive any newsletter or message from this blog.

All of this is because an official of a very high level of government (for legal reasons, I obviously cannot provide his name or any other personal information) had been receiving one of this blog's newsletters for months. He will no longer be able to subscribe to that newsletter with his official account. Neither will he, nor any other government official who wanted to subscribe to this blog from now on. I've had to unsubscribe this official to prevent further email bounces.

I wonder if the government follows this criterion with all media outlets, taking into account that Spanish public administrations - including the central government - have paid institutional subscriptions to some media outlets, which is a form of hidden subsidy (as I have pointed out many times, Counting Stars is completely free and does not receive a cent from the State).

So, I deduce that Pedro Sánchez's government does not want its officials to follow Counting Stars, even taking into account that the blog's newsletters are free and that the State itself finances paid subscriptions to for-profit media outlets. Obviously, Counting Stars is proud that a corrupt and authoritarian government is hostile to this blog, to the point of imposing dictatorial measures against this website.

If you want to subscribe to some of those free Counting Stars newsletters that seem to bother the government so much, to the point of including them on a blacklist, you can do so by clicking here.

Censorship is a phenomenon that occurs frequently in dictatorships, but also in some governments that call themselves democratic.

[10689
12063,693,2721
post-60607","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-logbook","tag-censorship","tag-psoe","tag-pedro-sanchez-castejon
