However, more and more are coming looking for alternative tourism, one that gets away from the crowds to discover the abundant natural treasures that Spain has to offer. <strong>This is the case of a Dutch couple and their dog, Lewie<\/strong>, who have traveled to different parts of Spain in a Toyota Hylux SUV (a bearded guy, a pretty girl, a dog, and an SUV... It's like the Dutch version of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCsRCNWepZ_EKcZ076r7ZFNA\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aventuras Entresierras<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>These Dutch explorers had just completed a long journey through North Africa. They began their journey through Spain in <strong>Algeciras<\/strong>, reaching the <strong>Gorafe Desert, Granada, the Sierra Nevada, the Sierra de Cazorla, and the Tabernas Desert<\/strong>. They then crossed through Portugal to the most beautiful region in Spain, <strong>Galicia<\/strong>, as everyone knows, and ended their journey in the <strong>Picos de Europa<\/strong>. On June 1, they published a video of this wonderful journey on the YouTube channel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@lewieandtherover\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lewie and the Rover<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Spain You Don\u2019t Know (Yet) | Overland Film\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/615Tt7Jtpms?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>You can see some screenshots from this wonderful video here. <strong>We start with this image of the Gorafe Desert<\/strong> in the province of Granada (Andalusia).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54761601606_ed3fc1a579_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54761601606_8b6116a311_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here we see the Tabernas Desert<\/strong>, in the province of Almer\u00eda (Andalusia), whose landscapes are very famous for having been the filming location of numerous movies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54760748527_c70e4c8dac_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54760748527_349d94a42a_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cape Finisterre, at the western end of the province of La Coru\u00f1a (Galicia).<\/strong> The lighthouse at its top was inaugurated in 1853 and is still in operation, projecting a white light with a range of 23 nautical miles.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54760748532_5febc358f9_o.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54760748532_cedecc5ae6_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>We conclude with this beautiful image of the Picos de Europa<\/strong>, a mountain range that stretches between the regions of Asturias and Cantabria and the province of Le\u00f3n (in Castile and Le\u00f3n).
