The left has been demonstrating its infinite capacity to feign moral indignation while exhibiting openly immoral attitudes.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, Pedro S\u00e1nchez once again resorted to the trump card of dramatization to cover up his corruption scandals. He did so to take out of context the words of an opposition deputy<\/strong> who proposed \"digging the grave\" where the remains of this government will rest. A figurative statement that S\u00e1nchez described as follows<\/a>: \"A covert appeal to violence. A questioning of democracy.<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n These words from the socialist leader are the height of cynicism. S\u00e1nchez and his party, the PSOE, have been fostering anti-democratic attitudes for years, allying themselves with enemies of freedom and democracy<\/strong> (communists, pro-ETA members, and separatists who staged a coup against the Constitution in 2017) and claiming support for socialist leaders who openly incited violence, such as Pablo Iglesias. Posse (founder of the PSOE) and Francisco Largo Caballero, president of that party between 1932 and 1935 and one of the most fanatical, extremist and violent leaders that socialism has had in Spain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n As I explained here two years ago, during the years of the Second Republic, Largo Caballero defended a \"socialist dictatorship,\" advocated violence, and threatened Spain with a \"civil war,\" a threat he issued before the general elections of November 1933. After losing the elections, Largo Caballero made good on his threat<\/strong> and triggered a bloody coup d'\u00e9tat<\/a> in October 1934, whose main focus was in Asturias and in which the coup plotters murdered 33 priests and religious and 300 soldiers and members of the security forces<\/strong>, also destroying 17 churches, 40 religious buildings and dozens of factories, bridges, houses and public buildings.<\/p>\n Four years ago, at a public event of the socialist union UGT, S\u00e1nchez publicly proposed to act as Largo Caballero did<\/a>, openly defending that fanatic and without making even the slightest criticism of his incendiary and anti-democratic statements:<\/p>\n \ud83c\udf39 Quiero comenzar recordando a Francisco Largo Caballero.<\/p>\n Actu\u00f3 como hoy queremos actuar nosotros: \ud83d\udde3\ufe0f @sanchezcastejon<\/a> — PSOE (@PSOE) May 19, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
