In recent hours, there has been news pointing to a possible agreement to end the war between Israel and Hamas terrorists.<\/p>\n
At 12:51 AM CET on Thursday, September 9, US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social<\/a>:<\/p>\n \"I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan. This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon<\/strong>, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace<\/strong>. All Parties will be treated fairly! This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey<\/strong>, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n An hour later, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated the following<\/a>:<\/p>\n \"With the approval of the first phase of the plan, all our hostages will be brought home. I am pleased by the news of the imminent release of the hostages<\/strong> and of the foreseeable end of this war, an end that could have occurred long ago if the Hamas terrorists had agreed to release the people they had kidnapped and handed over their weapons. Hamas has always been an obstacle to peace<\/strong>, because this terrorist organization can only gain prominence through the use of violence and crime, as it has demonstrated since its founding.<\/p>\n Of course, if peace comes to the Middle East, it won't be because of the posturing of so-called \"pacifists\" or the slander of the antisemitic left<\/strong>, which has exerted all its pressure on the attacked country, adopting the attackers' narrative. Israel has only been able to reach this moment through the use of force in the exercise of its right to self-defense<\/strong> after suffering the worst terrorist attack and the largest mass kidnapping in its history.<\/p>\n If peace finally comes to Israel and Gaza, there are several facts we must not forget,<\/strong> because losing our memory is what leads to repeating the darkest moments in history, as the brutal wave of anti-Semitism we are experiencing in the West is demonstrating. The first of these facts is that this war was started by Hamas,<\/strong> an Islamist criminal organization that since its founding has aimed for the extermination of all Jews.<\/p>\n Israel is a country that has grown and prospered on a desire for peace that has been relentlessly trampled by its neighbors,<\/strong> first under the banner of Arab nationalism and now under the banner of Islamic extremism. There will only be peace in the Middle East when Israel's neighbors accept the Jewish state's right to exist.<\/strong> Jordan, Egypt, and other Arab countries accepted that right years ago and that is why they live in peace with Israel today.<\/p>\n On the other hand, we must not forget that if there are not two states in the Holy Land, it is because the so-called Palestinians and their allies refused to do so<\/strong>. They did so in 1947, after the United Nations General Assembly approved the plan for the partition of the former British Mandate of Palestine, establishing a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Arabs of the Middle East rejected that plan and launched an invasion of Israel in 1948<\/a>, in an attempt to complete the anti-Semitic genocide initiated by the Nazis<\/strong>. Until now, Israel has won every war started by its neighbors. A single defeat would have meant the destruction of that country and a new extermination of the Jewish people.<\/p>\n Finally, we must not forget which governments and political parties sided with Hamas by spreading a colossal hoax accusing Israel of \"genocide\"<\/strong> after it suffered the worst anti-Semitic massacre since the Holocaust. A false accusation that these slanderers have not directed at Hamas<\/strong>, which does deserve to be accused of crimes of genocide for its atrocities of October 7, 2023, inspired by the founding charter in which this terrorist organization proposes to exterminate the Jews<\/a>.
