D-ECJP was en route to Granada Airport and, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/asn.flightsafety.org\/wikibase\/195110\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Flightsafety.org<\/a>, <strong>disappeared from radar ten minutes before landing<\/strong>. The following day, the wreckage was found on a mountainside at an altitude of 1,718 meters in the Sierra de Tejeda, a remote and difficult-to-access area in the municipality of Canilla de Aceituno (M\u00e1laga), in the Axarqu\u00eda region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The three occupants of the D-ECJP, all German citizens, died in this tragic accident<\/strong>, including the 60-year-old pilot and his 45-year-old wife. Currently, <strong>a wooden cross marks the crash site<\/strong>, where debris from the D-ECJP is still scattered across the mountainside. Yesterday, the YouTube channel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AventurasEntresierras\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aventuras Entresierras<\/a> (which I recommend you subscribe to) <strong>released a video showing a hike to the site and the wreckage of the plane crash in the Sierra de Tejeda<\/strong>, starting from the El Alc\u00e1zar Recreational Area in Alcauc\u00edn (M\u00e1laga).
