The bookseller from A Coru\u00f1a, Manuel Arenas, president of the <a href=\"http:\/\/royalgreenjackets.blogspot.com.es\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Historical-Cultural Association \"The Royal Green Jackets\"<\/a>, managed to recover the story of that Spanish soldier, and the YouTube channel <a href=\"http:\/\/tropaguripa.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tropa Guripa<\/a> dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2017\/05\/16\/from-galicia-to-normandy-this-is-the-place-where-the-only-spaniard-who-fought-on-d-day-died\/\">two excellent videos that you could see here<\/a>, recounting his life and showing the place where he fell in combat.<\/p>\n<p>Last night, Tropa Guripa took another step in its efforts to commemorate Manuel Otero with the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z20r41YkLiM\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">an excellent short film that recreates the Spanish soldier's landing on Omaha Beach<\/a>, specifically in the Easy Red sector, and his death in combat while crossing a minefield. <strong>A short film with cinematic quality and undoubtedly the best thing Tropa Guripa has released to date<\/strong>, which is saying something.
