T<strong>hese bays can carry up to 23,000 kg of various types of weapons, with different configurations using two types of racks: the BRA (Bomb Rack Assembly)<\/strong>, a vertical rack for free-fall bombs (similar to those used by bombers in World War II), <strong>and the RLA (Rotary Launcher Assembly)<\/strong>, a rotary launcher similar to those used by the B-52 and B-1B to carry nuclear weapons, including both bombs and cruise missiles.<\/p>\n<p>The YouTube channel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC47KcDhWSMo_k7gLxYQ0cOg\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">3D Mil-Tech<\/a> recently published <strong>an interesting computer-generated video showing the inside of these bomb bays<\/strong>, specifically demonstrating how the aforementioned rotary launcher works. In this case, <strong>the video shows the RLA launcher with GBU-31 bombs<\/strong>, the designation for conventional Mk-84 free-fall bombs equipped with Boeing's JDAM kit. <strong>These are bombs weighing 924 kilograms.<\/strong> To give you an idea, that's almost the weight of a Fiat 500.
