For 40 years, the Catholic priest and paleontologist Jean-Jacques Pouech investigated and studied the remains found in Mas-d'Azil, which include <strong>cave paintings, ceramic remains, tools, fossils of different types of animals and bone remains of a girl from 15,000 years ago<\/strong>, who is popularly known today as Magda.<\/p>\n<div class=\"foto_piedefoto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54950470896_8625e569f4_o.jpg?s=eyJpIjo1NDk1MDQ3MDg5NiwiZSI6MTc2NDI4MzkxMSwicyI6IjNlNWU1NDJhMzRjZmVkZDU3NzNjZGY2NTYyM2Q3YjdlNWU5MjRkODEiLCJ2IjoxfQ\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54950470896_a6a9beafb2_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"piedefoto\">Photo: <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:France_-_Ari\u00e8ge_-_Grotte_du_Mas_d'azil3.JPG\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pinpin<\/a> <\/div>\n<p><strong>Today, the cave not only houses a paved road<\/strong>, used by various types of vehicles, but also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.les-caue-occitanie.fr\/sites\/default\/files\/fichiers\/ressource\/field_fichiers\/grotte_mas_d_azil.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a museum that allows visitors to see some of its archaeological treasures<\/a>.
