Its nearly 38 million inhabitants make it the <strong>seventh most populous country in Europe<\/strong>, after Spain and ahead of Ukraine. Unlike other European countries, <strong>Poland is mostly flat, but has a mountainous region in the south.<\/strong> Furthermore, it has 9,477,400 hectares of forest, meaning that <strong>30% of its surface area is covered by forests<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The north of the country is bathed by the waters of the Baltic Sea<\/strong>, thanks to which its coastal areas have a milder climate than the inland areas. <strong>I've been reading and hearing people talk about how beautiful Poland is for a long time.<\/strong> This Wednesday I was able to see it for myself by watching a beautiful video published by Adnan Akhtar in October on his YouTube channel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@4kfilmsbyadnan\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">4k Films by Adnan<\/a>, which takes you through the cities, mountains, forests, and coasts of that country in 20 minutes:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Poland in 4K - Incredible Scenes &amp; Uncovering Hidden Gems\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ugi9AcEMzbk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>You can see some screenshots from this magnificent video here. <strong>The image at the top of this post shows the city of Warsaw<\/strong>, with the Vistula River in the foreground. At its tip is a naval base that was the last stronghold of Polish resistance during the German invasion of 1939.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54962338463_a0d49f078b_o.jpg?s=eyJpIjo1NDk2MjMzODQ2MywiZSI6MTc2NDgwMzE3NiwicyI6IjhmNGRjYTkwNDYyYWI0M2U2ZmIxYWRkYzBjOGFhY2EyY2NlNGRjNmYiLCJ2IjoxfQ\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/54962338463_1bcddacf73_c.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zakopane is a city of about 28,000 inhabitants located in southern Poland<\/strong>, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and in the southern part of the Podhale mountain region.
