In 2009, during Hugo Ch\u00e1vez's dictatorship in Venezuela, Judge Mar\u00eda Lourdes Afiuni released a political prisoner.<\/p>\n
The torture and rape of Judge Mar\u00eda Lourdes Afiuni<\/big><\/p>\n In response to that decision, from a television program, Hugo Ch\u00e1vez ordered that Judge Afiuni be sentenced to 30 years in prison<\/a>, for the mere fact of having contradicted the dictator. Judge Afiuni was tortured and raped in prison by officials of that dictatorship<\/a>, until finally, after more than two years of preventive detention and without having even been subjected to trial, she was placed under house arrest in 2011 and released on parole in 2013<\/a>. As has happened in other cases, the so-called \"feminist\" left played a shadowy role in this case<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The infamous attitude of the PSOE and Podemos towards these crimes<\/big><\/p>\n In March 2011, with the socialist Jos\u00e9 Luis Rodr\u00edguez Zapatero<\/strong> (currently a well-known defender of the Venezuelan dictatorship) at the head of the Spanish government, the Spanish Senate approved sending Spanish diplomats to attend the trial against Afiuni.<\/strong> The PSOE voted against it<\/a>, saying that \"discretion\" was the best course of action in this case.<\/p>\n In December 2014, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the persecution of the democratic opposition in Venezuela<\/a>, citing the case of Judge Afiuni. Following its custom of voting in favor of the Venezuelan socialist dictatorship, the far-left Spanish party Podemos voted against the resolution<\/a>.<\/p>\n The reduction of sentences for rapists by the PSOE in 1995<\/big><\/p>\n The Spanish left has a curious concept of defending women. In 1995, the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) approved a reduction in sentences for rapists and pedophiles<\/a>. Sentences for rape were reduced from 12 to 20 years in prison under the 1973 Penal Code to 6 to 12 years in cases of penetration. In that same reform, the PSOE also eliminated the crime of corruption of minors<\/a>.<\/p>\n The reform was so scandalous that even a media outlet sympathetic to the PSOE, El Pa\u00eds<\/a>, raised a huge outcry when the reform prevented the prosecution of a father who abused his daughter for 9 years: \"In Europe, laws on child abuse are being toughened<\/strong>, for example, by extending the statute of limitations to include cases where the victim reaches the age of majority. In Spain, there is a loophole that could favor the perpetrator<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The new reduction of sentences for rapists by the PSOE and Podemos in 2022<\/big><\/p>\n History repeated itself 27 years later. In 2022, Podemos, with the support of the PSOE, approved a further reduction in the sentences of rapists and pedophiles<\/a> with a law entitled \"Sexual Freedom\". In 2023, Podemos justified the reduction<\/a> by arguing that \"machism is not solved with prison<\/strong>, women are not protected by having a more severe Penal Code.\"<\/em> One of the drafters of the law stated<\/a>: \"We knew that some sentences would be reduced with the law of 'only yes means yes'<\/strong>, but punishing more does not better protect the victim.\"<\/em><\/p>\n Despite this, Podemos blamed the judges for the effects of that law<\/a> which had been promoted by that far-left party, a law that caused sentence reductions for more than 1,200 sex offenders and the release of 126 of them<\/a> by the end of 2023. After boasting of \"feminism\" for years, the Spanish left effectively acted as a front for the liberation of rapists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The cases of Podemos founders \u00cd\u00f1igo Errej\u00f3n and Juan Carlos Monedero<\/big><\/p>\n Furthermore, in October 2024, another of the founders of Podemos and then deputy of M\u00e1s Madrid, \u00cd\u00f1igo Errej\u00f3n, resigned after being accused of inappropriate behavior with women<\/a>. In the M\u00e1s Madrid party, they stated<\/a> that they were aware of sexual harassment allegations against Errej\u00f3n, which is why they asked him to resign his seat. This case is currently pending trial. Errej\u00f3n accuses the sole complainant of slander.<\/a> In 2020 Errej\u00f3n had said<\/a>: \"There are no false accusations<\/strong>, there is a fanatical right wing whose job is to criminalize women.\"<\/em><\/p>\n Likewise, in February 2025, alleged cases of sexual assault by Juan Carlos Monedero<\/a>, one of the founders of Podemos, came to light. The far-left party claimed<\/a> to have removed Monedero from his positions in September 2023 after becoming aware of these allegations. Ultimately, a complaint against Monedero filed with the Public Prosecutor's Office was dismissed<\/a> because the two alleged victims did not report the incidents.<\/p>\n A smear campaign against Adolfo Su\u00e1rez to cover up the scandals of the left<\/big><\/p>\n Now, amidst a wave of scandals involving alleged sexual harassment within the PSOE<\/a>, which has dragged the party's feminist banner through the mud, that party and Podemos have launched a disgusting smear campaign against Adolfo Su\u00e1rez<\/a>, taking advantage of a complaint filed by a woman who says She alleges she was raped by the late centrist president more than 40 years ago. Adolfo Su\u00e1rez died in 2014<\/strong>, and coincidentally, this allegation has only just come to light, amidst a wave of scandals within the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party).<\/p>\n
