It's never a desirable situation, but as with everything, <strong>it's always better to be overly cautious than overconfident.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, the always interesting YouTube channel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AventurasEntresierras\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aventuras Entresierras<\/a> (which I recommend subscribing to if you're interested in exploration, mountaineering, and survival) <strong>has published two interesting videos analyzing mountain first aid kits currently available on the market<\/strong>, as well as pointing out some potential improvements and offering some first aid tips. <strong>The first video is about a first aid kit sold at Decathlon stores<\/strong>, the Forclaz 900 (the videos are in Spanish; you can activate automatic English subtitles in the bottom bar of the player):<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Botiqu\u00edn Forclaz 900 de Decathlon: \u00bfVale lo que cuesta?\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-BAQNPP8mEw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>This French-made first aid kit is very complete and reasonably priced<\/strong>, and it also includes instructions in several languages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The second video, Aventuras Entresierras, showcases a smaller and cheaper first-aid kit<\/strong>, the Rhino Rescue Ultralight, manufactured in China and sold on online marketplaces like Amazon and AliExpress.
