This figure refers to mountains at least 300 meters high. <strong>If we talk about mountains at least 500 meters high, the number of unnamed peaks is 24,092<\/strong> (<em>\"that's more than double the number of mountains in Switzerland\"<\/em>, the website points out). Most of these peaks are in the Himalayan and Pamir mountain ranges in Asia, but <strong>there are also unnamed mountains in Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Thursday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@Jim_Manthorpe-outdoors\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jim Manthorpe<\/a> <strong>posted a video of himself silently ascending one of those unnamed mountains in the heart of the Scottish Highlands<\/strong>. <em>\"The mountain with no name lies to the east of the Aonach Eagach in Glen Coe, Scotland. <strong>It is marked on the OS map as peak 903m<\/strong>,\"<\/em> the video's creator notes.
