In Spain we have reason to say, without fear of exaggeration, that we are being governed in a purely criminal manner.<\/p>\n
The Council of Ministers approved the \"2026 Institutional Advertising and Communication Plan of the General State Administration\"<\/em> this Tuesday. The full text of the plan, published by the government itself, can be read here.<\/a> This plan is divided into two main parts: \u20ac155.60 million for 124 institutional campaigns and \u20ac115.07 million for 49 commercial campaigns<\/strong>. An expenditure of almost 271 million euros, practically equal to the expenditure on the same item in 2025. Thus, according to The Objective<\/a>, the total amount spent on propaganda since S\u00e1nchez came to power will reach 2.308 billion euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n What we are witnessing in Spain is an absolutely obscene use of all citizens' money, employed by the government to whitewash its image<\/strong> and buy the favor of the media (or at least try to) while our railway network suffers terrible degradation due to government incompetence<\/strong>, a negligent way of using public funds that is typical of authoritarian regimes and that has already caused 46 deaths in recent days:<\/strong> the 45 deaths in the Adamuz accident<\/a>, which occurred on January 18 in the province of C\u00f3rdoba, and the train driver killed in the G\u00e9lida accident<\/a>, which occurred on January 20 in Barcelona.<\/p>\n We are not witnessing mere waste, which would already be highly reprehensible. Those 2.308 billion euros spent by this government on propaganda are a theft from all Spaniards<\/strong>, a theft intended to whitewash the disastrous management of a coalition government of socialists (PSOE) and communists (Sumar) that has degraded public services to the point that we can no longer even travel safely by train<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
