The process for the development of the Miura 5, the first two-stage Spanish space rocket, continues at a spectacular pace.<\/p>\n

As you may recall, in November we saw here the first qualification model (QM1) of this rocket<\/a>, which aims to develop the complete subsystem tests of the space launcher<\/strong>, both in the first and second stages, in order to reduce the risks of the final launch, which is planned for this year.<\/p>\n

Pre-launch testing includes the construction of a second qualification model (QM2)<\/strong>, which involves the final integration of the rocket before launch and testing of its avionics. PLD Space<\/strong> plans to unveil the final launcher this quarter, after which it will be transported to the Kourou Spaceport in French Guiana<\/strong>, where the European Space Agency (ESA) conducts its launches.<\/p>\n

This Thursday, PLD Space released a video showcasing the Miura 5's QM2 and explaining the development of this important project. At the end of the video, we can also see the launch site:<\/strong><\/p>\n
