Next Sunday will be March 8th and the Spanish left once again faces the challenge of mobilizing demotivated voters.<\/p>\n
Leftist propaganda disguised as feminism<\/big><\/p>\n In case anyone is unaware, March 8th is International Women's Day.<\/strong> I won't delve into the origins of the date here, but rather its importance to a certain segment of the political spectrum. Year after year, the Spanish left uses this day to try to convince us that it, and only it, is the true defender of women<\/strong>, and that the rest of the political landscape is full of machists.<\/p>\n Of course, when the left talks about itself, it tends to value intentions rather than actions<\/strong>, the exact opposite of what it does with the right. This has been the case for a long time. In fact, the first country to institutionalize this holiday was the Soviet Union in 1922<\/strong>. A false feminism that claimed to emancipate women while subjecting them to a brutal regime of terror, just like men.<\/p>\n Mass rapes by the Soviet army<\/big><\/p>\n The actions of that regime were anything but feminist: In 1945, the Soviet army raped several million women and girls<\/a>, not only in Germany and its allied countries, but also in Poland: More than 100,000 Polish women and girls, aged 4 to 80, were raped by Red Army soldiers<\/a> who supposedly came to liberate them. A liberation that consisted of replacing the German occupation with the Soviet occupation and the Nazi yoke with the communist yoke. Despite this, the far-left continues to glorify that army without making even the slightest criticism of those atrocious actions.<\/strong> Is this feminism?<\/p>\n The favors the Spanish left gives to rapists<\/big><\/p>\n In Spain, leftist feminism also seems to be confused about rape.<\/strong> Although many seem to have forgotten this serious fact, in 2022 the Spanish left approved a penal reform<\/a> that served to reduce the sentences of more than 1,200 rapists<\/a>. The reform was promoted by the far-left party Podemos, which at the time was the coalition partner of the PSOE, the socialist organization led by Pedro S\u00e1nchez. The scandal was colossal<\/strong>, and Podemos blamed the judges for what that party had caused<\/a>, but ultimately that party ended up justifying that reduced of sentences<\/a> (that is, they knew perfectly well what they were doing), brandishing the magical argument that \"machismo isn't solved with prison.\"<\/strong> And they got away with it.<\/p>\n Bringing men into women's changing rooms under threat of fines<\/big><\/p>\n Not content with their support for rapists, in 2023 the left promoted a new law<\/strong> threatening with fines anyone who did not allow men who claim to be women to access women's changing rooms<\/a> and other spaces reserved only for women. That new law also served to expel women from women's sports<\/a> by allowing men who identify as women to participate. Once again, the reform was promoted by Podemos and supported by the PSOE.<\/strong> Neither party has apologized for the consequences.<\/p>\n Leftist immigration policy and violence against women<\/big><\/p>\n More successes for the feminist left: sexual crimes have increased by 66% in Spain since Pedro S\u00e1nchez came to power<\/a>. This issue has become very uncomfortable for the left because 39% of the perpetrators of these crimes are foreigners<\/a>. It is one of the rotten fruits of an irresponsible immigration policy promoted by the left<\/strong>, and which bears even worse fruit: In 2023, 45% of the murders of women were committed by foreigners<\/a>, despite them being only 12.63% of the population of Spain. As among \"oppressed\" groups, according to the left's perspective, immigrants\u2014especially Muslims\u2014occupy a higher position than women, leftist feminism has become accustomed to remaining silent about rapes committed by immigrants<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Spanish left defending the burka<\/big><\/p>\n In mid-February, Spanish socialists and communists once again displayed their peculiar idea of \u200b\u200bdefending women. The Congress voted on a motion to ban the burka and the niqab<\/strong>, two garments imposed on women by radical Islam, which become veritable prisons of fabric for them. The motion was defeated by the votes of the left and its separatist partners.<\/a> This scandalous result was predictable: the Spanish left is desperate to capture the Muslim vote<\/strong>, which is increasingly numerous in Spain due to the mass immigration policies supported by socialists and communists. Between defending women's dignity and appeasing Islamism, the left chose the latter.<\/strong><\/p>\n The disdain of the Spanish left for the women of Iran<\/big><\/p>\n We have recently seen another example of the left's curious defense of women. In mid-January, the far-left parties Podemos (again) and Sumar (S\u00e1nchez's current coalition partners)<\/strong> rejected an institutional declaration condemning the repression of protests in Iran<\/a>. The pretext given by the communist representatives in Congress was that they demanded the removal of support for the \"courage of Iranian women\" and the suppression of any criticism of the imposition of the Islamic veil<\/strong>, a garment that has become the clearest symbol of the Islamist dictatorship's oppression of women.<\/p>\n This very week, the government of Pedro S\u00e1nchez has been congratulated by the Iranian dictatorship<\/a> (that misogynistic regime that discriminates against and mistreats women as if they were second-class human beings) for betraying our allies when they try to overthrow that terrorist regime<\/strong> after having massacred more than 36,500 demonstrators for demanding freedom and equality<\/a> for women, atrocious crimes against humanity<\/strong> that matter much less to the Spanish left than an \"international law\" in which two allies of Iran, Russia and communist China, have the right of veto.<\/p>\n At this rate, one has to wonder who will be the next figurehead of the Spanish feminist left<\/strong> in its surreal concept of fighting for women's rights and equality. Jack the Ripper?<\/strong> This may seem like an exaggeration, but that infamous killer is credited with the murders of five women. The Iranian dictatorship has raped, tortured and killed<\/a> many more women<\/strong> in 47 years and now we have the extreme left demonstrating in its defense<\/a>.<\/p>\n The rape of women by the socialist dictatorship of Venezuela<\/big><\/p>\n This is not an isolated case. Officials of the Venezuelan socialist dictatorship have raped women detained for political reasons and even relatives of prisoners<\/a>, a common practice that is part of the atrocious repression that the Venezuelan people have been enduring for years.
