Con Masih Alinejad y la Libertad.\u201d 5.3.2026\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xLjDhkQhqOw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Masih, who is in exile in the United States, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/01\/17\/the-words-of-an-iranian-woman-criticizing-the-uns-silence-in-the-face-of-massacres-in-iran\/\">explained two months ago at the UN the persecution she has suffered for defending women's rights in Iran<\/a>: <em>\"I am a woman from a small village in northern Iran. <strong>Jailed for protesting. Beaten for showing my hair. Expelled from parliament for exposing their corruption. Forced into exile.<\/strong> My sister was paraded on state TV to publicly disown me. My brother was imprisoned as punishment. My mother was interrogated to stop her from expressing love for me.<strong> Assassins were sent to New York, three times, to kill me.<\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Since she made that criticism of Pedro S\u00e1nchez two days ago, <strong>left-wing activists have launched a smear campaign against her<\/strong>, portraying her as a \"propagandist\" on the payroll of the United States, as did the socialist rag <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/W3qKX\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">El Plural<\/a>  (a pro-government publication known for routinely publishing fake news).
