Andalusia is a Spanish region with very beautiful and varied landscapes, many of which are truly spectacular.<\/p>\n
Among these landscapes are those of the Granada Geopark<\/strong>, a mountainous area that is remarkable not only for its scenery but also for harboring one of the best continental geological records of the last 5 million years<\/strong>, as noted on its official website<\/a>, which adds: \"Among other treasures, this record contains the most complete set of fossil remains of the large, now-extinct mammals that lived during the Quaternary Period<\/strong>.\"<\/em><\/p>\n The Granada Geopark covers an area of \u200b\u200b4,722 square kilometers<\/strong>, including 47 municipalities in the districts of Guadix, Baza, Hu\u00e9scar, and Montes, in the province of Granada.
