{"id":65012,"date":"2026-05-15T18:59:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-15T16:59:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=65012"},"modified":"2026-05-18T06:51:34","modified_gmt":"2026-05-18T04:51:34","slug":"islamists-murder-more-than-100-christians-in-a-series-of-attacks-in-nigeria-and-the-drc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/05\/15\/islamists-murder-more-than-100-christians-in-a-series-of-attacks-in-nigeria-and-the-drc\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamists murder more than 100 Christians in a series of attacks in Nigeria and the DRC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Attacks by Islamist terrorist groups against Christian communities continue in several African countries.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/11\/05\/rtves-political-motivation-in-denying-the-genocide-against-christians-in-nigeria\/\">RTVE's political motivation in denying the genocide against Christians in Nigeria<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/09\/03\/a-genocide-a-bishop-speaks-bluntly-about-the-suffering-of-christians-in-nigeria\/\">\u201cA genocide\u201d: A bishop speaks bluntly about the suffering of Christians in Nigeria<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>In the last two weeks, <a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Christian Concern (ICC)<\/a>, a non-political organization that has been reporting on the persecution of Christians around the world for years, has reported <strong>a series of Islamist attacks against Christian communities in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with at least 102 Christians murdered<\/strong> (links to each of the reports are included in the place names):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/04\/nigerian-army-silent-as-extremists-kill-9-destroy-crops\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Plateau (Barkin Ladi, Nigeria):<\/a> <strong>9 people murdered<\/strong> by Fulani Islamist terrorists between April 30 and May 3.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/07\/adf-attacks-several-villages-in-eastern-drc\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Katerrain and Magambo (DRC):<\/a> <strong>24 people murdered<\/strong> by ADF Islamist terrorists between May 5 and 6.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/12\/fulani-militias-kill-19-christians-in-plateau-attacks\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ngbra-Zongo (Nigeria):<\/a> <strong>11 people murdered<\/strong> on May 8, including two pregnant women, children and several elderly people, crimes perpetrated by Fulani Islamist terrorists. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/12\/fulani-militias-kill-19-christians-in-plateau-attacks\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Barkin Ladi (Nigeria):<\/a> <strong>8 people murdered<\/strong> on May 9 by Fulani Islamist terrorists.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/14\/adf-strikes-makumo-days-after-biakato-massacre\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Biakato (DRC):<\/a> <strong>More than 20 people murdered<\/strong> on May 7 by ADF Islamist terrorists. <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/14\/adf-strikes-makumo-days-after-biakato-massacre\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Makumo (DRC):<\/a> <strong>9 people hacked to death<\/strong> on May 10 by Islamist terrorists from the ADF.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/14\/more-christians-slaughtered-in-biakato-drc\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Biakato (DRC):<\/a> <strong>21 people murdered<\/strong> on May 13 by ADF Islamist terrorists. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><big>The socialist government of Nigeria is investing $10 million in silencing this genocide<\/big><\/p>\n<p>On May 8, <a href=\"https:\/\/persecution.org\/2026\/05\/08\/icc-releases-report-exposing-nigerias-10-million-genocide-cover-up\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International Christian Concern<\/a> reported that 128,750 Christians have been killed in Nigeria since 2009, <strong>a genocide that the socialist government of Muslim Bola Tinubu is trying to conceal:<\/strong> <em>\"During meetings with other heads of state, Nigerian President <strong>Bola Tinubu claims the terrorism plaguing his nation stems solely from climate change and regional instability.<\/strong> Researchers have repeatedly debunked this reasoning, pointing to the targeting of Christian communities. The murder of clerics, such as the Rev. Joshua Aliya, is no accident. <strong>It\u2019s part of a deliberate strategy to erase religious freedom.<\/strong>,\"<\/em> ICC points out.<\/p>\n<p>The ICC has denounced that the government of Tinubuh <em>\"<strong>has launched a $10 million lobbying front to silence human rights accountability in the U.S. and whitewash the genocide of Nigerian Christians.<\/strong> This isn\u2019t just spin \u2014 it\u2019s a calculated effort to rewrite history while innocent lives are increasingly at risk.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><big>The silence of the S\u00e1nchez government regarding these attacks<\/big><\/p>\n<p>In the West, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2025\/11\/05\/rtves-political-motivation-in-denying-the-genocide-against-christians-in-nigeria\/\">media outlets like TVE, controlled by Pedro S\u00e1nchez's socialist government, have denied this genocide against Christians in Nigeria<\/a>, a denial largely explained by political motivations: <strong>Bola Tinubu's party is the All Progressives Congress (APC)<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20141228034118\/http:\/\/www.socialistinternational.org\/viewArticle.cfm?ArticleID=2326\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">since 2014 it has been a consultative member of the Socialist International<\/a>, <strong>an organization currently chaired by Pedro S\u00e1nchez.<\/strong> On April 1, 2015, following the presidential elections held in the African country, <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20250317052050\/https:\/\/www.internacionalsocialista.org\/noticias\/comunicados-de-prensa\/internacional-socialista-saluda-el-exito-de-las-elecciones-presidenciales-en-nigeria-475\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Socialist International congratulated the Tinubuh party<\/a>, stating that it was <em>\"a party that, at the last meeting of the Council of our International in December 2014, was accepted as a member of the organization.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In a meeting with Tinubu held in Madrid on June 1, 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/sanchezcastejon\/status\/1532033572147806211\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S\u00e1nchez described Nigeria as \"a strategic partner for Spain.\"<\/a> Perhaps this explains why, in the almost eight years he has been in power, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/search?q=from%3Asanchezcastejon%20nigeria&src=typed_query&f=live\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S\u00e1nchez has not issued a single statement condemning the massacres of Christians in Nigeria.<\/a> Incidentally, during all this time the President of the Government of Spain <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/search?q=from%3Asanchezcastejon%20congo&src=typed_query&f=live\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has also not written a single message about the massacres of Christians in the DRC<\/a>. All this while he is effectively turning his government into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/05\/02\/spain-a-european-government-at-the-service-of-hamas-terrorists-propaganda\/\">a megaphone for the propaganda of the Islamist terrorists Hamas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>---<\/p>\n<p><small>Photo: Marco Longari\/AFP.
