{"id":66102,"date":"2026-07-09T20:04:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T18:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/?p=66102"},"modified":"2026-07-12T06:53:26","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T04:53:26","slug":"some-good-tips-for-recording-cinematic-quality-videos-on-your-own","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/07\/09\/some-good-tips-for-recording-cinematic-quality-videos-on-your-own\/","title":{"rendered":"Some good tips for recording cinematic-quality videos on your own"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Multimedia portals like YouTube are today an inexhaustible source of videos that in many cases have very good recording quality.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/06\/27\/a-professional-photographer-gives-tips-for-taking-photos-through-security-fences\/\">A professional photographer gives tips for taking photos through security fences<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/03\/24\/a-great-source-of-ideas-for-taking-artistic-photos-using-fog\/\">A great source of ideas for taking artistic photos using fog<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>These videos, obviously, are not improvised. <strong>The more natural the story a video is telling seems to you, the more preparation there is behind it.<\/strong> On Tuesday I showed you here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/07\/07\/olympic-peninsula-a-magical-route-through-one-of-the-rainiest-places-in-the-united-states\/\">a video about the Olympic Peninsula<\/a>, in Washington, published by the photographer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@kyle_kotajarvi\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle Kotajarvi<\/a>, who is also a good video editing professional.<\/p>\n<p>That video caught my attention because of its excellent quality, as did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/03\/24\/the-incredible-green-landscapes-of-the-azores-the-westernmost-territory-of-europe\/\">the Azores video published by the same author<\/a> at the end of last year. <strong>Besides their photographic quality<\/strong> (something I always consider very important), <strong>these videos are characterized by telling a story beyond simply showing landscapes<\/strong>, even if we sometimes overlook the details. A few days ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@kyle_kotajarvi\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle Kotajarvi<\/a> <strong>posted a video on YouTube giving tips for making cinematic-quality videos<\/strong>, in which he explains how he records the magnificent content he publishes:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to Film Cinematic Videos by Yourself\" width=\"665\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ka4c48IUDnI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>A true phenomenon in this field is my friend Caracortada<\/strong>, the creator of the excellent YouTube channel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AventurasEntresierras\" target=\"_blank\">Aventuras Entresierras<\/a>, whose videos are the result of a great deal of preparation. <strong>When I watch one of these videos, I always focus on the shots and try to imagine how each thing was filmed<\/strong>, and that's when you realize all the work that goes into making something like this, and it makes you appreciate each video even more.
