This Friday, during a visit to Ceuta, the President of the Spanish Government, Pedro S\u00e1nchez<\/a>, denounced and condemned \"the violation and attack on the territorial integrity of a Spanish city like Ceuta\"<\/em><\/a>. In this statement, the Spanish Socialist leader was not exaggerating at all: this is how the attack deserves to be described. The problem is that, immediately afterward, S\u00e1nchez praised Morocco, the country from which the attack originated, thanking them for their \"cooperation\".<\/strong><\/p>\n

As former Ciudadanos MEP Eva Poptcheva<\/a> has rightly pointed out, \"according to the Charter of the United Nations (Art. 2.4), attacks against the territorial integrity of a State are committed by other States, not individuals<\/strong>.\"<\/em> It is illogical to denounce an \"attack on the territorial integrity of a Spanish city\"<\/em> and then immediately praise and thank the attacking country. This inconsistency can now be shed light on using logical mechanisms such as artificial intelligence (AI).<\/strong> I decided to conduct a simple survey, posing the following question to five different artificial intelligences: <\/p>\n

You can see here the answers to that question offered by Google AIs<\/a>, Grok<\/a>, ChatGPT<\/a>, Meta.ai<\/a> and Claude.ai<\/a>, which are among the most used by internet users worldwide. All five agree on the same point: an attack on the territorial integrity of a state can only come from another state<\/strong>, regardless of whether the aggressor has international recognition or not, and those who can be accused of such aggressions are the states themselves or their civilian or military leaders<\/strong>. Let's review their conclusions:<\/p>\n

Google IA<\/a>: \"According to international law and UN frameworks, those accused of committing crimes of aggression against the territorial integrity of a State are political or military leaders<\/strong>. Specifically, these are individuals who are in a position to effectively control or direct the political or military actions of a State.\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Grok<\/a>: \"According to the main UN texts on the subject, the subjects that commit (and can be accused\/held responsible for) attacks against the territorial integrity of a State through the use of armed force are States<\/strong>. The individual responsibility of high-ranking officials is a complementary development of international criminal law.\"<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
