For some time now, Russian invaders have been conducting veritable \"hunts\" for civilians in certain areas of Ukraine<\/strong>, using drones with the clear intent of killing as many Ukrainian citizens as possible, regardless of their age or the fact that they are non-combatants. These practices constitute a war crime.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

This morning, a Russian attack drone struck a passenger minibus in the Nikopol district<\/a> of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported<\/a> that five people were murdered and at least seven were injured<\/strong> in the attack. The injured are currently under medical supervision and are receiving all necessary care.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on this and other Russian attacks on civilians<\/a> in a message posted on his Twitter account at 10:25 a.m. CET: \"Every one of these strikes affects the lives of ordinary people, who must be protected by forcing Russia to stop its asinine war. <\/strong>\"<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Zelenskyy has noted that \"gifts to the aggressor in the form of eased sanctions will certainly do nothing to advance peace<\/strong>. And right now, in these very days, the United States Congress is considering an important Lindsey Graham bill that could send the right signals and help take the right steps toward genuine peace. Discussions are also underway in the EU on extending sanctions against Russia for its war. When such savage Russian killings occur every day, it is important that sanctions measures in response to the war be strong.<\/strong> This is not the time to ease the pressure. Now is the time to do everything to ensure that diplomacy succeeds through strength. I thank everyone who understands this and is helping.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

These photos of the Russian attack on a minibus in Nikopol were published by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine<\/a> this morning on its Telegram channel. It is regrettable to note that these systematic Russian attacks on civilians in Ukraine receive scant attention in many Western media outlets<\/strong>\u2014outlets that show a vastly different level of interest when it comes to military action by Israel against Hamas terrorists or by the United States against the Islamist regime in Iran.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The same can be said of certain governments<\/strong>, which now rarely issue statements condemning these Russian attacks on civilians. Take Pedro S\u00e1nchez\u2019s government, for example. Do some really consider the lives of Ukrainian civilians to be of so little value?<\/strong><\/p>\n
