VOX va a seguir en todas las calles de Galicia y de Espa\u00f1a\u201d. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/D4STICnY26\">pic.twitter.com\/D4STICnY26<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; VOX Galicia (@VOXGalicia_) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/VOXGalicia_\/status\/2102120313341268049?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 21, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><big>Vox to take the perpetrators of this harassment to court<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Shortly after midnight, via a message on Twitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Jorgebuxade\/status\/2102157852689199139\" target=\"_blank\">Buxad\u00e9 stated:<\/a> <em>\"<strong>S\u00e1nchez's government and its separatist allies have tried to intimidate our people\u2014in vain.<\/strong> While it is true that\u2014with the complicity of the Mayor of Santiago (BNG) and the government sub-delegate (Marlaska)\u2014<strong>they have violated our rights<\/strong>, we remained out on the street for the full scheduled time, calm and in high spirits. <strong>We will reclaim freedom from the streets and in the streets.<\/strong> Make no mistake.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, <strong>the Vox MEP has announced that his party will take legal action this very day against the perpetrators of the act of coercion<\/strong> carried out this Monday in the Galician capital: <em>\"<strong>Let us hope the presiding judge is not intimidated, persecuted, or threatened by the socialist and separatist mafia<\/strong> and that those responsible for the offenses committed answer for their crimes. We press on.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p><big>They are neither 'protesters' nor 'anti-fascists': they are criminals<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Of course, <strong>I stand in full solidarity with Vox in the face of this anti-democratic attack by the far-left against freedom of speech<\/strong>\u2014an attack that is intolerable and must carry legal consequences for its perpetrators. <strong>In democratic countries, it is the law and the courts that set the boundaries of free speech, not a group of thugs<\/strong> who believe they have the right to decide who may express their views and who may not, and who fancy themselves the owners of the streets and public spaces paid for by us all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is high time we stopped whitewashing these far-left thugs<\/strong>, as some media outlets do by labeling them \"protesters\" or \"anti-fascists.\" <strong>Those who use force to try to prevent a legal political party from exercising its right of assembly deserve to be called criminals<\/strong>, because that is exactly what they are. For those who believe they have the right to engage in acts of thuggery like yesterday's, it is necessary to point out that <strong>they may have committed up to four distinct offenses: coercion<\/strong> (Article 172 of the Penal Code), <strong>violation of the right of assembly<\/strong> (Article 514.4), <strong>public disorder<\/strong> (Articles 557 et seq.), <strong>and a hate crime<\/strong> (Article 510), given that the act was directed against a group of people based on their ideology.<\/p>\n<p><big>Those thugs are the closest thing to fascism in Galicia<\/big><\/p>\n<p>Legally speaking, <strong>what we witnessed yesterday is equivalent to the actions of the Nazis who blocked Jewish students<\/strong> from entering German universities in the 1930s, <strong>or the harassment by Ku Klux Klan racists to bar Black people<\/strong> from universities in Alabama and Mississippi in the 1960s.
