That is what Vladimir Putin\u2019s dictatorship has been carrying out against the people of Ukraine since February 24, 2022.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/10\/29\/russia-murders-14-people-at-a-station-in-dnipro-and-two-15-year-old-girls-in-chernihiv\/\">Russia murders 14 people at a station in Dnipro and two 15-year-old girls in Chernihiv<\/a><\/rel><br \/>\n<rel><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outono.net\/elentir\/2026\/10\/08\/russia-murders-more-than-fifty-ukrainian-civilians-in-two-brutal-massacres\/\">Russia murders more than fifty Ukrainian civilians in two brutal massacres<\/a><\/rel><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, November 2, the Kremlin once again demonstrated the terrorist nature of its war of aggression against Ukraine: <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/exceptionally-horrific-strike-russian-bombs-strike-school-used-as-humanitarian-aid-center-in-zaporizhzhia-oblast-killing-24\/\" target=\"_blank\">Russia launched guided aerial bombs at a school in Komyshuvakha<\/a>, in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast\u2014a school <strong>whose basement was being used as a shelter for civilians and as a distribution center for humanitarian aid<\/strong>. Although the basement had been built to be bombproof, Russia used <strong>high-powered munitions that completely destroyed the school and penetrated the bunker<\/strong>, burying many of the people who had taken shelter there. Where the school once stood, there is now a massive crater.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-media-max-width=\"665\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Search and rescue operations have now been underway for three days at the site of the Russian strike on a school in the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians used nine aerial bombs. They first struck people who had come to receive humanitarian aid,\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KaFinOorVy\">pic.twitter.com\/KaFinOorVy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Volodymyr Zelenskyy \/ \u0412\u043e\u043b\u043e\u0434\u0438\u043c\u0438\u0440 \u0417\u0435\u043b\u0435\u043d\u0441\u044c\u043a\u0438\u0439 (@ZelenskyyUa) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ZelenskyyUa\/status\/2117972980319866932?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 4, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pravda.com.ua\/news\/2026\/11\/02\/8060924\/\" target=\"_blank\">Following the initial attack, the invaders launched a second strike aimed at killing the first responders who had arrived to assist the victims<\/a>\u2014a tactic frequently employed by Russian forces in Ukraine. As a result, <strong>two first responders, a police officer, and civilians attempting to flee after the first attack were also killed.<\/strong> This marks yet another war crime among the many that the Russian invaders have been committing in Ukraine. Below, you can see <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/dsns_telegram\/79777\" target=\"_blank\">the funeral of one of the slain rescuers, Oleksii Sushchevskyi<\/a>, a sergeant major in the Civil Protection Service. <strong>He was 44 years old and had spent 13 years saving lives as a firefighter.<\/strong> He is survived by his wife, an 8-year-old daughter, and a 19-year-old son.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634243017_4c0853fc1b_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634243017_053fc66801_z.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/21680\" target=\"_blank\">Yesterday afternoon, the President of Ukraine indicated that 43 bodies have already been recovered from the shelter<\/a>, <strong>but 53 people remain missing, meaning the final death toll from this attack could reach 96.<\/strong> Efforts to search for the remaining victims are ongoing, as many of the bodies are still buried beneath the rubble of the school and the underground shelter.<\/p>\n<p>+ UPDATED 6.11.2026 16:40: <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SESU_UA\/status\/2118628048421671220\" target=\"_blank\">The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has reported that 50 bodies have now been recovered<\/a> during search operations among the remains of the shelter located beneath the school.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634248212_c27f91a949_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634248212_1909beedb5_z.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/V_Zelenskiy_official\/21680\" target=\"_blank\">Volodymyr Zelenskyy lamented yesterday afternoon that \"almost everyone remains silent\" regarding this attack<\/a>, adding: <em>\"The Russians knew exactly what they were attacking. Please, do not remain silent in the face of such crimes.\"<\/em> <strong>The President of Ukraine spoke these words at the 30th Ibero-American Summit held in Madrid.<\/strong> During his visit to Spain, he had the opportunity to meet with His Majesty King Felipe VI and the Prime Minister, Pedro S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55635648160_ba03348555_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55635648160_b2685141f7_z.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Significantly, despite Zelenskyy\u2019s visit to Spain, <strong>S\u00e1nchez has not posted any message on Twitter condemning this Russian massacre.<\/strong> Neither has the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Albares, whose department has not even issued a brief statement condemning the attack. <strong>This is the same government that always scrutinizes everything Israel does in its fight against terrorists<\/strong>\u2014whether it be Hamas in Gaza or Hezbollah in Lebanon\u2014and that consistently speaks harshly about the only true democracy in the Middle East. <strong>Yet, when Russia carries out a massacre resulting in nearly a hundred civilian casualties, the S\u00e1nchez government falls silent<\/strong>, despite its stated support for the cause of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55635225316_0a22c38f31_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55635225316_7ee94c519d_z.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The same can be said regarding how many media outlets have covered this massacre<\/strong>\u2014either relegating it to the background or ignoring it altogether. Much like the Spanish government, <strong>these media outlets often fixate entirely on Israel<\/strong>, yet they have conditioned us to expect that whenever Russia commits a war crime in Ukraine\u2014which happens all too frequently\u2014the matter is treated as if it were inconsequential, or it goes unreported entirely.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634243022_e9142f522a_o.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55634243022_bb396ec6b7_z.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; height:auto; border:0px;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For my part, I reiterate what I have been saying for years: <strong>Putin is a dictator who heads a terrorist regime<\/strong>, and as long as he remains in power, Russia does not deserve to be treated as a normal, democratic nation. <strong>Putin\u2019s dictatorship must face further sanctions, and Ukraine must continue to receive military aid<\/strong>\u2014aid that serves to protect its people from Russian atrocities and to expel the invaders from a country where they have no right to be. <strong>Until Russia is defeated and driven out of Ukrainian territory, we cannot claim that there is peace in Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>---<\/p>\n<p><small>Photos: State Emergency Service of Ukraine.<\/small><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terrorism.
