Founded before the Roman conquest of the Iberian Peninsula, Toledo is one of the oldest and most fascinating cities in Spain.
I have walked many times through the streets, squares and corners of that city, which was the capital of Spain during the Visigothic Kingdom, in the High Middle Ages, and seat of the court of King Carlos I of Spain, which is why it is known by the nickname "Imperial City" (since said monarch was also Holy Roman Emperor). But if Toledo is fascinating on its surface, it is no less so on its subsoil, which includes an old sewer network that the author of the YouTube channel Viajandisimo in this video (it is in Spanish, unfortunately it does not have subtitles):
