In several Far Eastern countries there is a tradition related to dragons that dates back three thousand years.
While in the West dragons have often had negative connotations, being considered evil beings by various mythologies, in the Far East they are beings related to good luck and prosperity, which is why they are so popular in the traditions of that part of the world. One country where dragons are especially popular is China, where an amusement park with nine enormous concrete dragons was built years ago.
The park is in a remote mountainous area, and the channel Exploring the Unbeaten Path posted an interesting video yesterday showing the inside. "Shrouded in mystery, no one knows exactly when this park was built or why it was abandoned, but these enormous sculptures remain, standing like silent giants in the middle of nature", says the channel, which does not indicate the exact location of this place:
You can see some screenshots from the video here. The dragons are enormous in size, reaching up to 35 metres in height at the top of their heads.
The nine dragons are different. Each one has a name, and its interior was like a thematic museum. You can see them inside in the video.
The dragons' bodies extend across the mountain, reaching up to 400 meters in length.
