The US Navy shows the aircraft from Operation Epic Fury against the Iranian dictatorship

This morning, the United States and Israel launched Operation Epic Fury against the Islamist dictatorship of Iran.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced: "U.S. and partner forces began striking targets at 1:15 am ET to dismantle the Iranian regime’s security apparatus, prioritizing locations that posed an imminent threat. Targets included Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control facilities, Iranian air defense capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields."

CENTCOM added: "Following the initial wave of U.S. and partner strikes, CENTCOM forces successfully defended against hundreds of Iranian missile and drone attacks. There have been no reports of U.S. casualties or combat-related injuries. Damage to U.S. installations was minimal and has not impacted operations."

The same source adds: "The first hours of the operation included precision munitions launched from air, land, and sea. Additionally, CENTCOM’s Task Force Scorpion Strike employed low-cost one-way attack drones for the first time in combat. Operation Epic Fury involves the largest regional concentration of American military firepower in a generation."

At 19:35 CET, CENTCOM released this video of the operation, showing the launch of missiles from US Navy ships (the first sequence is the launch of a BGM-109 Tomahawk missile from the destroyer USS Spruance DDG-111), as well as the takeoff of fighter jets, specifically a Marine Corps F-35C Lightning II, belonging to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 314 (VMFA-314) "Black Knights", and a Navy F/A-18E Super Hornet, the 205th of Strike Fighter Squadron 14 (VFA-14) "Tophatters" (both The squadrons are part of Carrier Air Wing Nine (CVW-9), embarked on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). At the end of the video we see several of the targets attacked: a drone, a radar, and a missile launcher.

As the President stated, our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime.

At 19:52 CET, CENTCOM released this video showing the takeoffs of a Marine Corps F-35C, the 305th of VMFA-314; a Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet, the 111th of Strike Fighter Squadron 41 (VFA-41) "Black Aces" on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln; and an F/A-18E, the 401st of Strike Fighter Squadron One Five One (VFA-151) "Vigilantes", followed by footage of BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles being launched from Arleigh Burke-class destroyers:
