Ukraine has been enduring a full-scale Russian invasion for four years. An invasion supported by the Islamist dictatorship of Iran.
Ukraine does not forget the Islamist dictatorship's support for the Russian invaders. On February 28, the same day that Operation Epic Fury was launched against the ayatollahs' dictatorship, the President of Ukraine recalled:
"Although Ukrainians never threatened Iran, the Iranian regime chose to become Putin’s accomplice and supplied him with “shahed” drones, and not only the drones themselves, but also the technologies to produce them. Iran also provided other weapons to Russia. Over the course of this full-scale war, Russia has used more than 57,000 shahed-type attack drones against the Ukrainian people, cities, and energy infrastructure. Other nations have also suffered from Iranian-backed terror. Therefore, it is fair to give the Iranian people a chance to rid themselves of a terrorist regime and to guarantee security for all nations that have suffered from terror originating in Iran".
Following that support, the Iranian embassy in Pretoria had the audacity to invite the Ukrainian ambassador to South Africa to sign a book of condolences for Ali Khamenei, the bloodthirsty dictator eliminated on the first day of the military intervention carried out by the United States and Israel against the terrorist regime in Tehran. That invitation has been revealed by Olexander Scherba, Ukraine's ambassador to South Africa, in a message posted on his personal Twitter account, which also includes the sublime reply letter he sent to the Iranian ambassador:
Your Excellency,
Mr. Ambassador,Since you notified the Embassy of Ukraine of the book of condolences for deceased Ayatollah Khamenei and Iran’s military leadership, I feel compelled to remind you the following.
As military allies of the Russian Federation, the deceased leaders of Iran had on their hands the blood of thousands of Ukrainian citizens – men and women, children and elderly – killed with the help of the infamous Iran-made “Shahed” drones and other military know-how so eagerly provided to Russia by your government. Your leaders were complicit in bringing endless grief to Ukrainian civilians.
Being a person of faith, I try not to rejoice in the death of other people, even those who chose to be tormentors of my country that did nothing bad to theirs. But as someone who has spent three years to the tune of Iran-created machines of death howling every night in the sky over Kyiv and other peaceful Ukrainian cities, I cannot help but wish for every culprit to meet the justice they deserve. If not by human law, then in the face of God Almighty.
Ambassador, I do not know you personally and have no grudge against you. Sometimes good diplomats must speak for bad leaders and their policies. But I hope you understand that I won’t express condolences for someone whose death I do not mourn.
Sincerely,
Dr. Olexander Scherba
Ambassador
My applause to Olexander Scherba for this letter. And of course, I reiterate my support for the people of Ukraine against the Russian invasion, as I have been expressing for the past four years, and my support for the people of Iran against the tyrants who have massacred tens of thousands of Persian citizens for demanding freedom. It is high time that Persia freed itself from these tyrants, and certainly this liberation will not come with sweet words or attempts at appeasement, which have already failed in the 47 years that the ayatollahs have been in power.
So far, appeasement has only served to give Iran's tyrants the time they need to massacre their people and also to support the terrorists who are massacring civilians in Ukraine and Israel. A terrorist regime that uses such extreme violence to oppress millions of people and that promotes terrorism beyond its borders can only be overthrown by force. Many Iranians do not seem displeased with that possibility, as evidenced by the abundant displays of jubilation in Iran over the dictator's death.
