The feminist left criticizes an Iranian woman more than the dictatorship that tried to kill her

Masih Alinejad, a 49-year-old Iranian woman, spoke this week at an event organized in the Congress of Deputies of Spain.

You can see here the video of Masih Alinejad's speech, in which she was highly critical of Pedro Sánchez's government for opposing the US and Israeli military intervention against the Islamist dictatorship of Iran, a terrorist regime that has murdered more than 36,500 Iranian citizens for demanding freedom, without the Spanish left holding a single protest against it:

Masih, who is in exile in the United States, explained two months ago at the UN the persecution she has suffered for defending women's rights in Iran: "I am a woman from a small village in northern Iran. Jailed for protesting. Beaten for showing my hair. Expelled from parliament for exposing their corruption. Forced into exile. My sister was paraded on state TV to publicly disown me. My brother was imprisoned as punishment. My mother was interrogated to stop her from expressing love for me. Assassins were sent to New York, three times, to kill me."

Since she made that criticism of Pedro Sánchez two days ago, left-wing activists have launched a smear campaign against her, portraying her as a "propagandist" on the payroll of the United States, as did the socialist rag El Plural (a pro-government publication known for routinely publishing fake news). It is surprising to see that the Spanish "feminist" left dedicates more criticism to an Iranian woman than to the misogynistic regime that tried to kill her, imprisoned her, and tortured her for wanting to be free and for defending women's rights in Iran. Is this what feminism is all about?
