Attacks launched by Russia and Iran, allies of China, Sánchez's great friend

Sánchez's indifferent attitude towards serious attacks against Ukraine and UAE

The coalition government of socialists and communists has a very curious concept of what "international law" is.

Russia launches new and bloody terrorist attacks targeting civilians in Ukraine
A Spaniard is kidnapped by Russia since 2022: Pedro Sánchez chose to ignore his case

In the last month, Sánchez has published three messages on Twitter harshly criticizing Israel. During the same period, Sánchez has not published a single message criticizing Iran or Russia, despite repeated Iranian attacks against ships in the Strait of Hormuz and constant Russian attacks against civilians in Ukraine. Since March 2, all of Sánchez's mentions of Iran on Twitter have been to criticize the US and Israeli intervention against that terrorist regime, which has been financing and arming criminal organizations such as Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis for many years.

The situation changes when we talk about the aggressions of dictatorships like Russia and Iran against other countries. As we saw yesterday, this Tuesday Putin's dictatorship launched serious attacks against civilian targets in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that these attacks have resulted in 27 deaths and more than 120 injuries.

Furthermore, Yesterday Iran attacked oil facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the second consecutive day. The Iranian attacks focused on the Habshan–Fujairah pipeline, which allows the UAE to export its oil without passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

"We will always defend international law," Pedro Sánchez affirmed on May 1st. However, neither the Spanish Prime Minister nor his Foreign Minister has said anything about these serious attacks on Ukraine and the Emirates. Yesterday, José Manuel Albares simply published a message with these words: "President Zelensky's announcement of an unconditional ceasefire reflects a real commitment to peace. We call on Russia to stop its attacks as well, taking steps to end this war." Not a word of condemnation of the latest Russian attacks against civilians in Ukraine.

Significantly, and despite the fact that his government theoretically supports Ukraine, Sánchez has not made a single mention of Russia on Twitter since August 2025 and his last mention of Ukraine was almost two months ago, so he has been silent for weeks in the face of the incessant Russian attacks against Ukrainian civilians. Along the same lines, Sánchez has not mentioned the attacks suffered by the Emirates for the past two months, and the last time he did, he made no mention of Iran, the attacking country, as if the projectiles that fell on Emirati soil had appeared out of nowhere. Let us remember that Pedro Sánchez has a close friendship with the Chinese communist dictatorship, which is a staunch ally of Russia and Iran. Moreover, it seems that if there are no Jews to blame, the Spanish socialist leader loses interest in any conflict.
