Yesterday, "Venom: The Last Dance" was released, the third installment of the films based on the Venom character from Marvel Comics.
Without being an exceptional film, I have to say that I found it entertaining and, as in the previous two films, it is appreciated that this franchise has not fallen into the ideological nonsense of other Marvel productions, which became soporific monuments to the so-called "wokeism" (perhaps because in this case it is Sony Pictures who leads the way). The Venom films have a mischievous tone that makes them fun, and this third installment has managed to preserve that spirit, adding some ingredients that I will not detail so as not to reveal the film to anyone.
I'll give you a heads up in advance: there's a short scene after the very long credits slideshow, following the well-known tradition of Marvel movies. So if you want to see the whole thing, you'd better be patient as soon as the names of the huge list of people who worked on this film start coming out.
There is one detail that really caught my attention in this film: it features a military base where we see Spanish military vehicles, specifically a BMR-600 armoured vehicle and an Iveco-Pegaso truck (a 7226, if I'm not mistaken). The BMR appears very clearly and the truck was a bit further away. The credits indicate that part of this film was shot in Spain, in the provinces of Alicante, Almería and Cartagena. That explains the presence of these vehicles in an American film production.
Here I leave you with the trailer of this movie:
