Caves are fascinating places that attract caving enthusiasts and, in general, all kinds of explorers.
However, not all caves are accessible, and not for natural reasons. There are many caves that have been closed due to the dangers they harbor or for other reasons. A few months ago, the Youtube channel CaveChronicles posted an interesting video showing a mysterious cave sealed with a brick wall (its location is not indicated, only that it is in the USA). On the wall you can read the following text inscribed in bas-relief: "No trespassing. Sealed by Federal Government."
On this sign, on the left you can read the numbers 25 and 6, on the right the date: "1-1940", and in the middle are the initials "WPA", an acronym commonly used for the expression "Wildlife Protection Area". So it can be deduced that this cave has been sealed since January 1940. However, on the right there is an entrance through which you can access the cave perfectly. The video shows its interior:
It should be noted that in the USA there are caves that are sealed off in a similar way due to the presence of harmful elements, such as toxic gases or uranium, so if you see a cave with a sign like the one mentioned, it is best not to enter. In the cave in question, the aforementioned channel indicates that it was inhabited by human beings in very ancient times. Inside they found this carved stone, perhaps an arrowhead or a very old spearhead.
One of the most interesting things about this cave are these spiral-shaped fossils, which can be seen on several walls. This cave is a paleontological gem.
Inside the cave there are these curious orange crystals. But what is really creepy about this image are the two white spiders on the right (you can enlarge the image by clicking on it).
Another curiosity of this cave is that it has some ceilings that shine, according to the explorers, an effect that is not only due to the drops of water that we can see in this image. You can see it better in the video.
