This year 2024 is coming to an end and it is time to remember the best moments we have experienced in these last twelve months.
As far as Spanish aviation is concerned, every year it reserves a prominent place for a team of aviators who are the best ambassadors of Spain (along with Their Majesties the King and Queen). I am referring, of course, to the Patrulla Águila, the fixed-wing aerobatic squadron of the Spanish Air Force, which flies with seven CASA C-101 Aviojet training aircraft.
Today their beautiful 2024 summary has been published, a video that shows us spectacular images of the exhibitions and passes that these aviators have done in these months, another year of success for these elite pilots who have the ability to leave us stunned with their maneuvers:
As the video shows, the Eagle Patrol is not just its pilots, all of them instructors at the General Air Academy (AGA) in San Javier, in the Region of Murcia. These pilots have behind them a large support team that is in charge of the maintenance of their planes, public relations, administration and the taking of videos and photographs of each performance of the Patrol. A great team that we Spaniards can be proud of. Here are some screenshots from this video, as a preview.
