Racism is a very ugly thing and consists, for example, in criticizing what someone does not because they did something wrong, but because of their race.

The keys to the 'revolution of common sense' announced by Donald Trump

The socialist daily El País has today been the protagonist of a historic episode of progressive racism with an analysis of Melania Trump's attire during her husband's inauguration ceremony as the 47th president of the United States. The article states: "the indisputable fact is that the president's wife has used her powerful image to support two independent American firms run by white, blond men."

I never read the news about women's fashion (or men's fashion), but I find it hard to believe that anyone would seriously write such a stupid thing to comment on the outfit of the new first lady of the United States. It must be said that this kind of nonsense is nothing new: I have been denouncing for some time now the new racism promoted by the left-wing, as aberrant as any other form of racism and which supports the ridiculous idea that there are oppressed races and oppressor races, an idea according to which being a white, blond man is something to be criticized because his skin color is a sign of oppression.

If the left is in decline in the West, it is precisely because it has adopted such stupid ideas, or the no less ridiculous gender ideology, according to which the oppressors are men and the oppressed are women. Disqualifying a person because of their race, their sex and even the colour of their hair is now considered "progressive", which shows that a large part of the left has the same intellectual poverty as communism and nazism.

Speaking of intellectual poverty, the author of that El País article seems to have a bit of a math problem. In another paragraph of the article, criticizing LVMH for boasting that Melania Trump wore a Christian Dior cape to Arlington National Cemetery, the author complained about the turn of "an industry until recently considered progressive, liberal, inclusive and a staunch defender of LGTBIQ+ rights", finally adding: "a three-hundred-and-sixty-degree turn of the rudder occurred in the eyes of the whole world." After reading this, it would never occur to me to board a ship piloted by the author of that article, since she considers that a change of course is a 360º turn.
