Last Friday we saw here images of the Spanish military landing in Volos, Greece, during NATO's Steadfast Dart 25 exercise.
This landing was organized by NATO's Maritime Component Command (MARCOM) and included the participation of the Spanish Navy's Expeditionary Combat Group (GCE) Dédalo, led by the aircraft carrier "Juan Carlos I" L-61. On Saturday, the Greek Youtube channel 11Aviation Videos published an excellent 23-minute video of this exercise, with spectacular images of the Spanish participation in it:
The video is a great summary of this air-naval exercise. You can see some screenshots here. In the first one we see a Greek Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopter flying over the Volos beach where the landing took place. On the beach we see two Spanish Marines, signalling to their companions to indicate the landing points.
Two SH-60 Seahawk helicopters of the Spanish Navy disembarking Marines in Volor using the fast rope technique. The arrival of the helicopters in the video looks like a scene from a movie.
A Spanish Navy LCM-1E landing craft transporting two VAMTAC ST-5 tactical vehicles of the Tercio de Armada to the Greek beach.
An EAV-8B+ Harrier II Plus EAV fighter from the Spanish Navy's 9th Squadron hovering over Volos beach. The Greek video includes some great shots of the two Spanish fighters that took part in this exercise.
